A New Year is traditionally the time for new Resolutions and a new start. It’s a time when we (try to) motivate ourselves to do things that we likely need to do and have an impressive number of ways to avoid in the old year.

I am not a great fan of New Year’s Resolutions. In fact, I’m not a great fan of attempting self-improvement from the outside in. I’m more of a working from the inside out kind of girl.

This vlog is all about one simple bit of inside out work  that you can do to feel better about yourself in 2022.

Thank you Dr Annie for bringing to light how the narrrissts uses the holidays to upsept or try to hoover me back in I felt fight or flight and was unable to sleep or eat properly for a few days my body was rejecting him but I was curious to see what crap he was going to come out with it did set me back but he failed with the hoover because of the knowledge I have learned about narrissists thank you so much for your videos and the content 💖♥️💯

  2. Watched your vlob . Yes the lady did good! It is a win. All the teaching regarding narcissist are great, yet when ur adult child is with a narcissist and was pulled away from his family bc we didn’t give in to her power demands what can we do except accept it? It hurts that a child has grown up close to family and now has closed the door. Recently his sister was diagnosed with breast cancer and reached out to him and he used it as a Segway to his gf issue with her demands to us all . His response was good luck with your diagnosis and I don’t need updates on your health! Now they were very close and she was the first one he cut out of his life. Why aren’t we ever hearing on 3rd party narcissist that affects a partners family? We can’t be the only ones looking for direction and help with coping. I’ve joined Hope for parents of prodigals zoom support group running for 10 weeks.

    • Unfortunately, there are no easy answers on that one.

      Inasmuch as he is an adult, he can make whatever choices he – or she – likes.

      You have to learn to live with it the best way that you can and constantly remind yourself that his rejection is NOT a reflection of your value. If the group feels right for you, then it is right.
